Lovely hotel, located right in the centre of town but remains peaceful and quiet. The staff were very helpful arranging access to the spa and wellness centre, calling taxis and transporting us to the port upon check out. Highly recommend!
Hotel Mayer & Splendid was a perfectly positioned place to stay for our family of 4's visit to Lake Garda, right on the lake by the Desenzano ferry and reasonably short walk downhill from the train station. The staff was extremely friendly, the rooms were comfortable, and breakfast was delicious (they have an espresso bar, too). They provide a shuttle back to the train station, which I'd recommend taking advantage of, because the hike back up will be harder.
Best hotel in Desenzano!!!! Located right on the harbor and facing the main plaza ! Pubs and restaurants all around and a Bicycle rent service available on site!…. The boss and the crew are simply awesome!
Great location by the lake. Rooms a but dated. They let us park right in their park and not in the park faraway (had to pay nontheless). Good breakfast.

Location perfect whit a view at the lake.
We stayed there for only one night but i can say that it was splendid. We had a spacious room with a windows facing the lake, the staff was super friendly.
Additionally the breakfast had a huge variety of dishes, including gluten-free food.
I can only recommend this hotel!
stayed here for 4 nights, excellent location basically next to the ferries, amongst the shops and restaurants. Good breakfast choice with proper coffee, hotel is quiet. Our room was a bit small, but had good lake views and a balcony, and air con. Car parking about a 10 min walk away, but shuttle is available on checkout
Great location, large rooms and stable WiFi. A welcome drink after check in is also quite nice. I would give 5 stars if the staff would be more comfortable speaking English. At such a premium place (with premium prices), this should not be a topic.
